Peanut

While I wait for my mom to make amigurumi treasures for Elsa, I made her Peanut, the Wee Elephant. I made it from a pattern in my Last Minute Patchwork & Quilted Gifts book. It came from the 4-8 hour section (meaning it should take between 4-8 hours to make) and I think I whipped it out in 3-4, over several days. Speedy Gonzalez! It's not as perfect as I would have liked, and she has a big C-section scar on her belly from where I stuffed her full of bamboo batting, but I think she's sweet looking. For now she lives on the changing table in the nursery with Sophie the giraffe and the siamese with rabbit ears.
